MECIT has an academic affiliation with Coventry University from the United Kingdom. Coventry University has a long tradition as a provider of higher education. It can trace its roots as far back as Coventry College of Design in 1843. Today Coventry University is a forward-looking, modern University with a proud heritage as a provider of high quality education and a harbinger of multidisciplinary research. The university has established an academic presence regionally, nationally and internationally and takes great care in providing a supportive environment to all its students.

Coventry University awards the qualifications for the graduates of Middle East College of Information Technology. In addition to that, Coventry University supervises the academic and educational quality systems implemented in MECIT.
