Board of Trustees

The Board of Trustees is one of the fundamental components of the governance system of Middle East College of Information Technology. The Board being a representative body of the stakeholders ensures that the interest of the institution, the student community, and the society at large is protected. To ensure greater transparency and to take forward the aspirations of the institution, the Board comprises of representatives of the Board of Directors, experts from the industry, nominees from the Ministry of Higher Education, Sultanate of Oman and other policy makers in addition to the Dean of the College.

Management Board

Management Board is the executive arm of the governance system of Middle East College of Information Technology. The Board is responsible for developing, reviewing and implementing MECIT strategic plans in accordance with the approved Vision, Mission, Values and Goals of the Institution. The Board oversees the overall operational aspects of the Institution and ensures effective strategic direction as guided by the Governing Boards and the Managing Director.

College Board

The College Board is vested with an overall responsibility of developing, overseeing, reviewing and implementing the academic policies and practices of the Institution. The Board is responsible for promoting, maintaining and monitoring the academic standards within the Institution according to the Vision and Mission of the Institution.
