We plan to organize seminars through Math Club.  A dedicated centre for Math is operational from April 2010.  Called ‘Math Referral Centre, it will motivate students of MECIT and inspire School students to pursue higher studies involving Mathematics.  Also, school teachers will be trained in the recent trends in Mathematics Education. 

Several members of the Faculty are currently undergoing the Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education offered by the Coventry University.  On completion of the studies, they will organize workshops and take up other research activities.

Inter-collegiate competition in Mathematics as well as other similar activities involving students from other colleges in Muscat are planned.
