Chandrasekar Ramaiah obtained his Maser degree in Industrial Electronics Visvesvaraya Technological University India, and Bachelor degree in Electronics & Communication from Kuvempu University India. He has several years of teaching experience both at Graduate and post graduate level in India and Oman. He was honored with gold medal for securing First Rank in his Masters program. His teaching interests are Digital Signal Processing, VLSI design, embedded systems. His areas of research interest are, Digital signal processing and Computer networks.
Ajitha obtained her Masters in Digital Systems and Communications from National Institute of Technology Calicut, with distinction and B.Tech in Electronics and Communication. from M.A.College of Engg ,India affiliated to M.G .University with distinction. She has presented papers in National conference on VLSI and Communication (NC-VCOM-07and 08) held in saintgits college of engineering on “Coding gray scale Images via Bit Plane Encoding with JBIG Standard” and " BER Performance Comparison of a Timing Free and Synchronous Blind Multi User Detectors with an Ideal MMSE Detector in DS-CDMA systems.” Her teaching interests are Digital Communications, Information theory, VLSI Technology, Digital Signal Processing. Her areas of research interest are Multiuser detection Information theory and Error detection and coding theory.
Dr. Adel Soudani, born in Tunisia in 1972, he got his Ms Science degree in microelectronics in 1996, and his Diploma of thorough studies (DEA) in 1998 from the Science Faculty of Monastir University, Tunisia. Then, He received his doctor degree in electrical engineering from the University of Henri Poincare, of Nancy 1 university, France, in 2003.
Between 2003 and 2004, He joined the University of Sousse, Tunisia, as an associated Professor. During this period he was the manager of a research team at the Laboratory of Electronics and Microelectronics at the University of Monastir.
He has advised several research works both at the master and at the PHD degrees. He had also managed several international research projects carried between universities from France and Spain.
His research interests include quality of service management in embedded distributed system, communication in multi-constraints embedded systems, communication protocol design and implementation. Wireless networks, image processing, hardware/ software system design. He has several research publications in these fields.
Dr. Vrajesh Maheta did his Ph.D from IIT, Bombay and his specialization was Microelectronic Device (pMOSFET) Reliability. He did his Masters in Microelectronics from BITS pilani and bachelors in Electronics. His teaching interests are Electronics circuits Digital circuits, VLSI design ASIC design and Semiconductor physics. His areas of research interest are NBTI in p-MOSFET, Advanced CMOS device reliability, and Digital system design using FPGA. He is one of the reviewers of renowned IEEE International technical journal titled “Transaction of Electron Devices”.
Muhammad Nauman Bashir holds Masters degree in Electrical Engineering and Bachelors degree with honors in Electronics and Communication Engineering from University of Engineering and Technology Taxila Pakistan. Mr. Bashir was bestowed with certificate of Merit from the University for consistent performance in academics. He has ten years of professional experience in teaching and corporate sector prior to joining MECIT. His areas of research interest are Communication Engineering. Mr. Bashir is member of PEC.
Muna Al Rahbi has graduated in Electrical and Computer Engineer with the minor specialization of ” Industrial electronics and control system” from Sultan Qaboos University and is taking Post Graduate Certification in Higher Education Professional Practice. She underwent training at Oman Refinery Company in maintenance Units (Electrical and Instrument sections).She is working as Lab instructor in Department of Engineering at MECIT since Feb 2009.
She is very interested in team building activities especially in voluntary services and is a membership of many societies. She currently mentors the Literature Community at MECIT.
Her area of research interest is “The importance of qualification of teachers in institutions of higher education”.
Nandita obtained her Masters in Electronics and Communications, Post Graduate Diploma in IT, B.Tech in Electronics and Communications and currently pursuing PG Cert in Higher Education Professional Practice from Coventry University UK. Her teaching interest areas are Digital Electronics, Circuit Analysis, and Optical communications. Her career goal is to complete het PG certification and to undertake some applied research. Her area of research is in the field of Applied research in higher education. She had conducted an workshop on "Developing innovative strategies for teaching and learning - A case study".
Dr. Nizar Al-bassam holds a Ph.D in Communications Engineering from the Nahrain University, Iraq. in 2004. He completed his M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering department from Al-Mustansiria University, Iraq in 2000 after his B.Sc. degree in Electronics and Communications in from Nahrain University.
He was the head of Information Technology department in SF international company in UAE between 2008 and 2010, responsible for all its Networking and Security Systems, Between 2006 and 2008, he was the head of Computer Science and Information Technology department in the University of Science and Technology , Yemen. During this period he taught many subjects related to Networking & Communication Systems and Data Security. His field of interests include Digital communications, Communications security (Direct sequence and frequency hopping), Satellite communications, and Cryptography.
Pooja Krishnan holds a Master of Technology (M-Tech) degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering with specialisation in Microwave and Television Engineering, from Kerala University, India. Her Bachelor of Technology (B-Tech) degree is in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Mahatma Gandhi University, India. She is persuing a PG Certificate Programme in Higher Education Professional Practice from Coventry University, UK. She has more than seven years of teaching experience as Lecturer and Assistant Professor in the field of Electronics and Communication Engineering.She has been handling modules like Antenna and Wave Propagation, Transmission Lines and Filters, Microwave Communication Systems, Electromagnetic Fields, Electronics Circuits, Electronics Engineering and Electrical Engineering. Her area of research interest is Communication Engineering and plans to undertake research activities in the near future.
She also holds the responsibilty as the Academic Advising Coordinator of the College.
Rosalio Pana is a licensed Electronics and Communications Engineer in the Philippines. In 1995, he finished his Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communications from Mindanao Polytechnic State College, Cagayan de Oro City. After passing the government’s licensure exam, he worked in Acer Incorporated, Taiwan Republic of China, as In-Circuit Tester (ICT) Repair Engineer in the Department of Mobile Computers from June 1996 to June 1998. His job dealt mainly in overseeing if the ICT machine is working efficiently by analyzing its printed results. Mainboards of notebook computers were tested and repaired as well to validate the efficiency of the ICT machines. In November 1998, he joined AMA Computer College- Cagayan de Oro (AMACC-CDO) Branch as Instructor in the Department of Computer Engineering. While working as faculty, he took up Master of Engineering at Xavier University through the Fund Assistance for Private Education Scholarship program. His special problem (thesis) entitled: “A Computer-Aided Design for Line-of-Sight Microwave Communications System for Frequencies Less Than 10 GHZ” was presented in the AMA Vis-Min Research Conference/Workshop in Davao City Philippines. He was invited as Lecturer/ Assistant Professor in Mindanao Polytechnic State College both in the Undergraduate and Postgraduate levels and in Xavier University Graduate School. He is also a licensed Microsoft Certified Professional with Training Certifications from AVAYA Structured Cabling Systems and CISCO. Before he joined Middle East College of Information Technology as Senior Lecturer/Program Coordinator in November 2006, he was designated as College Dean in AMACC-CDO for almost two years.
In MECIT, he teaches Electronic Circuits, DC Electrical Circuit Analysis, DC Electrical Circuit Analysis, Electronic Measurements, Industrial Electronics, Communication Systems, Control Systems and Telephony.Safiya Al Ghawi did her bachelor in Telecommunication and Electronics from HCT. She did her training in Omantel in Al-Khwair Tower at Network Business Unit and had certifications on Basic Transmission, PCM/PDH Principle, SDH Principle, SDH Network Configuration, Certificate in Electronics Programmable using Microcontroller, Certificate in easy learning for course of Wireless Networking for Small Businesses. She has received FIRST PLACE IN STUDENT AWARD COMPETTION- 2005 in Nizwa College of Technology in Engineering Department and received the AWARD OF FIRST BACHELOR GRADUATES STUDENT- 2008 in Higher College of Technology in Engineering Department. Her teaching interests are Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Digital Logic Design, Electronic Circuits, Digital Communication, Telephony, AC and DC Electrical. Her area of research interest is Microprocessor.
Sreedevi Koottala acquired Master degree in Electronic and Communications from Cochin University of Science and Technology, Kerala, India in 2000. She is undergoing the Post Graduate certificate course in Higher Education Professional Practice from Coventry University, which will be completed in 2010 August. She has more than six years of teaching experience in higher education. She joined MECIT in September 2007 and she has been teaching Electrical engineering, Electronics engineering, Communication systems, Electronic Measurements, Digital Logic Design, Microprocessors and Control systems. Her field of interest is Digital Electronics, Microprocessors, VLSI and Control Systems. Her long term goal is to initiate project in the field of VLSI or Nanotechnology.
Thuraya S. Al Yaarubi graduated from Higher College of Technology in Telecommunication and Electronics Engineering. She underwent training for two months at Omantel ,Ministry of Transport & communication in 2009 , She also worked at customer care unit at Omantel Sumail branch . She has Certificate of Completion for CCNA Exploration: Network Fundamentals course as part of the Cisco Networking Academy. Also She had Intelaaqah Certificate of "Bright Idea" workshop in Ibra College of Technology. Her teaching interests are in Electrical, Communication systems, Control system, microwave communication and microprocessors and interfacing.
Vimala has completed her M.E in Electronics & Control from Sathayabama University, Chennai and B.E in Electrical and Electronics from Bharathiyar University, Coimbatore. She began her teaching career in 2002 and joined MECIT in 2009 as a Faculty in Department of Engineering. She has published papers in national conferences such as:
