He won the Award of Excellencewinner for topping the University from Delhi region of Msc. Fashion Technology. He as also won Best Designer Award at the Annual Fashion Show of IIFT Creations 2003.

Teaching interests
- Fashion and Lifestyle- Fashion is not only about clothes it’s a lifestyle. The way we are living is very much influenced by fashion and that’s what I enjoy to teach.
- Contemporary Fashion- Is a study of fashion in 20th and 21st Century
- Sustainable and ethical Fashion issues- Like ethical fashion creation of such garments which remain in fashion forever.
Areas of research interest
Contemporary Fashion- The world of Fashion is continually changing with its multi-cultural mix, edgy, vibrant art scene, history and traditions, is the catalyst that influences these changes. My research in Contemporary Fashion focus on how these changes occur by examining the influence of various factors on fashion: Social events, technological innovations, architecture, the arts, mass media, individual designers and the lifeblood of the world.
Niche ethical Fashion magazines: It has been observed in recent years that fashion magazines are playing a very important role to influence the generation of future fashionista. These magazines not only update the reader about current trends but educate them too. In my research I am trying to find it, that how relevant these fashion glossaries are.
Career Progression Goals.
- To achieve my Niche in the world of contemporary fashion not only as a fashion academician, but as a true Fashionista.
