Shyamala holds an M. Sc in E-Business from Sikkim Manipal University and a PG Honor’s Diploma in Systems Management from NIIT India. She has more than 20 years of teaching and consultancy experience both in academic and corporate industry. She handles some of the UG as well as PG modules at MECIT. She is with MECIT from 2006 and prior to that had been associated with IGNOU Oman as MBA and BCA/BIT lecturer. She was earlier employed with NIIT India as Systems Consultant. Her main research areas of interest lie in the field of Knowledge Management and E- Business.
Dr.Mohammed M. Alani has obtained his BSc, MSc, and PhD in Computer Engineering from Nahrain Univeristy, Iraq in the years 2001, 2003, 2007. He has worked in teaching and telecommunications for over 8 years in Iraq, Jordan, Sudan, Bahrain, and Oman. He has several industrial certificates such as CCENT, CCNA, CCAI, MCP, MCDST, and BIAS. He has published research papers in international journals and conferences. His major field of interest is Data and Network Security, and VoIP. He is currently a member of IACR, ACM, and several other international associations.
Aisha Al Masroori holds a Bachelor degree in Software Technology from Middle East College of Information Technology. She has been a staff member in MECIT since 2008 as Lab Instructor, and has two years of experiences in teaching. She is working in the Computing Department, and involved in teaching modules, both practical and theoretical.
She is also doing a PG Course in Higher Education offered by Coventry University institution. She is planning to do her Masters in her field of specialization. She wishes to participate in conferences and symposiums related to her specialization.
Anand has Masters in Computer Science from Manonmaniam Sundaranar University, India. He has more than fourteen years of academic experience. Prior to joining MECIT, he worked with Manipal University as a Selection Grade Lecturer, Senior Lecturer with ICFAI and Lecturer in Sivanthi Aditanar College, India. He was also a visiting faculty for the offshore campus of SNDT Women's University, India in Dubai. His areas of specialization are IT for health, Data Mining, Software Engineering. He pursues research in the area of Data Mining. He has published a book on Java Programming for JNTU, Hyderabad, India. He served as a Functional Manager for ISO 900 certification and has guided Cerner, USA sponsored IT for health projects.
Anjum Zameer has a Masters & Bachelors in Computer Science & Applications with Advanced Diploma in Network Technology. He has more than seven years of Academic & Industry experience. Prior to joining MECIT, he worked as a Lecture in State Engineering College in J&K India for more than 3 years. He was also a Network Team Leader for one of the leading Companies in Oman where he established a VPN for eight group companies & administered the ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) on Microsoft Navision. His main areas of Interest & Research are Network Security, wireless Networks and Nanotechnology. He has many Certifications, Diploma’s & Excellence certificates like Microsoft Certified Professional, Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer, Web Com Certified Network Associate etc. During the span of his career he was associated with many National Companies & Corporate sector as Network Advisor, Network Planner and Network Implementer, a visiting faculty to many premier institutes & colleges.
Dr. Nagesh has PhD from University of Mysore in Speech Signal Processing. He has more than seven years of industry, research and academic experience. Prior to joining MECIT, he worked with Tata Elxsi, a software company. His main research interests include speech recognition, statistical pattern recognition, biometric authentication, 3D object recognition and level crossing algorithms. He has several refereed international journal publications, book chapter and conference papers. He serves on the review panel for various international technical journals.
Ghaniya Ahmed AL Hadrami holds a Bachelors of Science (Honors) in Information Technology for Health. Her teaching interests lies in subjects like Programming, Programming Logic Development, VB.net application development and Core Internet programming. Apart from these she likes reading, drawing and web designing.
Hariprakash has Master of Computer Applications from Bharathidasan University, India. He is having CCNA , SCJP, ICDL and EC-Counsil certifications. He has more than 12 years of experience in Academics, Application Development and Network Administration. Prior to joining at MECIT, he worked as a Lecturer in Nizwa College of Technology, Sultanate of Oman, Lecturer in Inti College, Malaysia, Lecturer in Hindustan College of Engineering, India and as a Corporate trainer and Developer in Java at Radiant software, India. He serverd as a projects supervisor, developed various application packages for Industries and organised seminars and lectures for technical staff in Malaysia and Oman. His areas of interest are Networking, Programming, and AI.
Hari Mohan Pandey completed M.Tech degree in Computer Engineering from Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies. He has over six years of experience. His area of interest includes Theory of Computer Science, Data Structure and Algorithm, Computer Architecture, Computer Networking, Operating System, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. He has written many books in the field of Computer Science & Engineering. Apart from writing books he presented and published Research Papers at National and International conferences and Journals. He is associated with various International Journals as Reviewer or Editorial board member.
Jitendra Pandey has a Masters & PG Diploma in Computer Applications with certifications in CCNA, Network+, MCSA, Oracle Certified Associate, MCDBA in SQL Server 2008. He has more than Eight years of Academic & Industry experience. Prior to joining MECIT, he worked as a Senior Consultant in Khimji Ramdas Group, Oman for more than 3 years. His main areas of Interest & Expertise are Networking and N/W Management. He has also successfully delivered many turnkey projects in India for some major government undertaking including Census UP&UA and Indian Army, Lucknow.
Lilibeth Reales is a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering and two Masters’ degree in the field of Computer in AMA Computer University. She worked for more than five years as Professor/Area Coordinator/ and QA Manager in the same University. She also worked as programmer and analyst in some software companies for almost five years. She has extensive experience in Teaching, Project Management, Quality Assurance, Software Development and Testing.
Ms. Manju Jose has M.Phil from Bharatidasan University and MCA from Manonmaniam Sundaranar University, India. She is Microsoft certified system engineer and also CompTIA certified hardware professional. She has over 10 years of academic and industry experience. Her research interest includes cryptography, voice over internet protocol, network security and wireless communication.
Manoj P is a Master Degree holder in Computer Application (MCA) in the year of 2005 with an aggregate of 77 and having nearly 5 years of experience both in teaching and Server administration. He started his career as Senior faculty in MBIT at Kerala affiliated to Kerala university during the period April 2005 to Feb. 2006. He moved to Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management – Kerala- IIITM-K (www.iiitmk.ac.in) at Technopark, Trivandrum, Kerala as Faculty cum Project Assitant for IIITM-K post graduate students and students of various universities among India. He also holds experience in Dubai, UAE as Technical Support Engineer / Website Administrator during the period of 2007 to 2010. He has great attention to teaching of latest technologies related to the website and other emerging technologies. He is a certified java programmer from SSI limited India. He had attended an All India Level seminar about “Recent Trends in Networking” in year 2004..
Mohammad Mustafa Siddique has done his M. Tech. specializing in Computer Science and Engineering from Visveswaraiah Technological University, Belgaum, India. He has around 16 years of experience in teaching, research and software development. He has worked at very prestigious Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore working on various Research and Consultancy Projects at the department of Management Studies, besides working in very reputed engineering colleges, both in Oman and India working in various capacities as Lecturer, Senior lecturer and Assistant Professor and Head of departments. He has taught at various levels for undergraduate, graduate, post graduate, diploma, engineering and masters courses. He has participated and attended a number of Seminars/Technical Talks/Workshops besides having an Oracle Certified Associate certification among many other technical certificates. He has published a paper on Quality Management in Education besides being involved in an international paper on Decision Support System for Planning, Scheduling and Inventory Control. His interests are Quality Management and Decision/Executive Information Systems. He currently teaches computing modules, mainly on databases.
Muna Al Salmi holds a Bachelor degree in Database in Information Technology from Higher Colleges of Technology in Muscat. Apart from training students, she was trainer in OIB Oman International Bank as a member of a team, building a project using Visual Studio 2008 and SQL Server 2008. She also holds an Oracle Certificate from Higher College of Technology as training course as a part of graduation plan. She is currently working with Computing department as a Lab Instructor. Her areas of Interest lies in programming using Visual Studio 2005 with VB and C++ Languages.
Nadia Diane Salvador Reyes has Master in Information Technology from Polytechnic University of the Philippines. She has more than 11 years of academic experience. She worked as a Data Analyst/System Coordinator in Polytechnic University of the Philippines Information Linkage System (PUPILS). She co-authored the book titled Basic Computer Concepts – Advanced Basic 5 for elementary students.
Prakash Kumar Udupi has Master of Technology in Information Technology from Sam Higginbotom Institute of Agriculture, Technology & Sciences, Allahabad (Formerly AAI, Deemed University) and MBA in human resource management from Sikkim Manipal University. He has more than 15 years experience in research, industry and academics. He worked as an Assistance Professor in NIFT and AIFD. He also has the working experience in various Defence Training Establishments and PSUs. His main research area is Multimedia, Graphic Design, Multimedia Application Development and Digital Media Design. He is currently an Associate Member of Institution of Engineers (INDIA) and also a Member of Quality Circle Forum of India. During the span of his career, he published various articles, papers and participated as a jury member, visiting faculty at various premier institutes and universities.
Preethy Sinu Kurian holds a Masters in Computer Applications from Madras University. She has over 10 years of teaching experience in higher educational field. Her areas of interest includes system designing, software engineering and project management.
Prof (Dr.) Saravanan Venkataraman obtained his Bachelors degree in Mathematics from University of Madras during 1996 and Masters Degree in Computer Applications from Bharathiar University during 1999. He has completed his PhD in Computer Science in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Bharathiar University during 2004. He specialized on automated and unified data mining using intelligent agents. His research area includes data warehousing and mining, software agents and cognitive systems. He has presented many research papers in National, International conferences and Journals and also guiding many researchers leading to their PhD degree. He has totally 12 years experience in teaching including 3 years as researcher in Bharathiar University. He is the life member of Computer Society of India, Indian Society for Technical Education, and Indian Association of Research in Computing Sciences and and International Association of Computer Science and Information Technology. He is also the member of IEEE. He worked as Professor & HOD of the Department of Computer Applications in Karunya University, Coimbatore, Tamilnadu, INDIA from 1999-2009 and Professor & Director, Department of Computer Applications, Dr. NGP Instituite of Technology, Coimbatore, Tamilnadu, INDIA from 2010 onwards. At present with the Department of Computing of Middle East Collge of Information Technology.
Raqiya Salim Saif AL-Mamari has a Bachelor in Hardware and Networking Engineering from Middle East College of Information Technology. She has been a staff member in MECIT since 2008 as Lab Instructor, and has two years of experiences in teaching. She is working in the Computing Department, and involved in teaching modules, practical .And I have planning to Masters in my field of specialization. Also I am supervisor for activities called (H-Club) for the computer you are many activities staged to contribute in the service of college students and increase their expertise through educational and scientific sessions and the establishment of competitions and exchange of experiences.
Santhosh John, Completed Masters in Computer Application from University of Madras, India. 12 years of university/college level teaching experience in higher education institutions of India, Malaysia and Sultanate. Core teaching areas are Object Oriented Analysis and Design with UML, Java technologies and System Software. Research interests are Service Oriented Architecture, Semantic web and Ontology.
Shariq Ali Khan has MBA from Preston University, Karachi and MSc (Advance IT & Business Management) from University of Wales, UK. He is also studying in PGCert in Higher Education at MECIT, Coventry University program. He has more than 12 years of teaching as well as industry experience in the field of information technology. Before teaching at MECIT he worked for I-Concept Middle East, Abu Dhabi as an Oracle DBA and Desktop Engineer, he provided consultancy and training to the core Database Administrators group at IT department of General Head Quarters Armed Forces, Abu Dhabi, Govt. of UAE. He also worked in Petroman (Partner Institute Kherpur University) as a lecture and Oracle certified trainer at Orasoft Karachi.
He is an Oracle Certified Professional (OCP), Oracle Technical Champion (OTC) and Microsoft Certified Professional. He worked on different Information System development and implementation projects. He has excellent experience in higher education with solid industry expertise in the field of information technology. His main research interests include Teaching ICT at Higher Education. He also has MACS (Member Australian Computer Society) status.
Suad Mohammed Nasser Al Qassabi holds a Bachelor Degree in Software Technology from Middle East College of Information Technology. She is a member of Computing department , working as a Lab Instructor. She has undergone training in various organisations like Armed Forces Hospital and SQUH.
Vikas Rao Naidu has Masters of Engineering in Computer Engineering and B.Tech. in Information Technology, both from Anna University, India. He has also obtained M.B.A. in HRM from National Institute of Business Management and Diploma in Computer Engg. from Madras University, India. Apart from this, he has done specialization in Digital Film Making, Graphics designing, Animation and Visual FX from Arena Animation Academy. He is having 5 years of academic experience during which he has been involved in many creative projects based on Graphics, Animation and Digital Films.
