Apart from moulding our students with professional and technical capabilities, students are assisted well in developing time management skills, interview handling skills, communication skills and so on. Our students will have plenty of opportunities to give their CV the added extras that employers are looking for.

MECIT has strong relationships with a diverse range of employers seeking well-rounded graduates. MECIT has set up an apex advisory forum known as ‘Advisory Forum for Industry Relations of MECIT (AFIRM)’, which firmly places industry academia interaction on top of its academic agenda. The forum would meet twice a year and guide the college’s Industry Relations policies, and programme design.

A Student placement cell is available in the college to assist the students in getting placed in companies across Oman. The Cell organises a regular programme of careers fairs and events held at the College, where you will have plenty of opportunities to meet with recruiting employers to explore your future job options. MECIT recently organised its second Career Fair at the campus during Spring 2010.

Students can register their CV in MECIT ePlacement Portal which is accessed by various employers in the country. Apart from this, many employers notify the placement cell of graduate vacancies.
